The youth ministry at Salem Baptist is made up of an AMAZING group of 7th-12th graders from over 17 local middle and high schools. Our youth ministry exists to REACH those who have no relationship with Christ, to CONNECT them with other Christians, to help them GROW in their faith, and to challenge the growing to SERVE others and to HONOR God with their life.

Whether this if your first time to the site, or you come here often, there is always plenty for you to check out. Be sure to pick up your copy of "Living With Teenagers" each month at the church. Copies are available at the beginning of each month on the table in the back of the FLC and on the magazine stand just outside the sanctuary.

http://www.pluggedinonline.com/- Focuses on reviewing popular media froma Christian perspective. Also reviews movies.
http://www.goodmoviesonline.com/- Here you can purchase a movie that has been professionally edited down to either "PG" or "PG-13" rating.
http://www.cleanflicks.com/- This is basically Netflix with only clean content movies.
http://www.clearplay.com/- DVD players that allow you to purchase filters for any movie and it edits out the questionable content...highly suggested.

http://www.commonsensemedia.org/- Offers an in-depth look at new popular music and the content is has.

Cell Phones
http://www.brickhousesecurity.com/- Purchase software that can extract deleted text messages. This could be useful if you believe your teen could be lying about harmful behavior. **This software will not work on all cell phone models (and NO Verizon phones).**
